Grab your friends and join us for the 11th annual Cast Hope Steelhead Tournament. The steelhead tournament will be taking place on the Trinity River near Weaverville, CA. That's about 1 hour west of Redding. The Trinity is a great steelhead river that has a large run of fish from October - February. This tournament is timed perfectly for catching the big winter fish that show up later in the season. Fish from 25-30" are common on this river with the potential at fish in the 31-35" range being caught every year. This tournament is going to be open to both nymphing and swinging for steelhead. Steelhead caught swinging will carry more weight in terms of points for the tournament.
Event Date: December 12-15, 2024 (You will check in on Thursday evening. Fish on Friday and Saturday. Then check out Sunday morning.)
Location: Indian Creek Lodge, Douglas City, CA
Cost: $2,500 per angler
Prizes: There are going to be some awesome prizes for the winners this year. All of the prizes are going to be based around the thought of steelhead and will include rods, trips, and cold weather gear. In total there will be 4 different prizes given away to the top 3 anglers and Big Fish caught.
Included: 3 Nights Lodging at Indian Creek Lodge, Gourmet Meals, Wine/Beer, 2 Days Guided Fishing on the Trinity River, swag package. Terminal tackle, rods (if needed), etc. are also included.
Not Included: Travel to the lodge and tip for guides
