Mako Madness - San Diego, CA
Few experiences in fly fishing compare to the raw power and speed of a mako shark on the line. When fishing the offshore waters of Southern California, you are stepping into one of the most electrifying saltwater pursuits on the planet.
Mako shark fly fishing is not subtle. It is explosive eats, blistering runs, airborne jumps, and battles that test both angler and gear. These apex predators are fast, aggressive, and perfectly built for chaos, and targeting them on fly is the ultimate challenge for serious anglers.
